Special Paint Schemes
The Jimmie Johnson Foundation logo has been featured on multiple cars in the Sprint Cup Series, Nationwide Series, and even a dirt car! Special thanks to Lowe’s for allowing Jimmie to run the No. 48 Lowe’s/Jimmie Johnson Foundation Chevy Impala at Auto Club Speedway each year. Jimmie won both the Fall 2007 and Fall 2008 Sprint Cup races with the special paint scheme. The paint scheme is a great way to generate awareness for the foundation. In addition, the foundation has created collectible die cast for each car to help raise funds to further the mission of the foundation.
Prelude to the Dream
The 5th Annual Prelude to the Dream was postponed due to weather conditions. The all-star dirt model race has been rescheduled for Wednesday, September 9, 2009. Check back for more details closer to the event.
